Spreading Wings for the Hospital for Special Surgery’s 2023 Benefit for Pediatrics

November 8, 2023 we raised over $2.1 MILLION for the Lerner Children’s Pavilion @hspecialsurgery and the newly renamed Penny Doerge Adaptive Academy.

Our hearts are bursting with pride and gratitude to all those who generously supported this event. Thank you to our amazing co chairs, corporate donors, and the HSS team for making the night so special and to our hero, Dr. Roger Widmann for his support over the last 17 years and for his incredible leadership at the hospital. Special thanks to Penny’s other doctors, Dr. Kaleb Yohay and Dr. David Harter for joining us for this celebration. We are so grateful.

We KNOW Penny would be so proud of us all and honored for the beautiful tribute of continuing her legacy at HSS with the PDAA, which will allow ALL children to live a beautiful and active life, just like she did.
